Daddy Day!!
I had to work yesterday (Saturday) all day so Jon and Kaden had a "daddy day," which they both love! All decked out in his new camo bibs, they cleaned house for me. And caught up on the laundry! They both must really love this mama!

Quick update
A brief update before I go to bed.
Great weekend in Anchorage last weekend with the youth group. Kaden stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and our friends, Jon & Sarah, while were gone. He did great! We were missing him like crazy!!! But it was awesome to spend time with the youth. Learned a lot!
Kaden was sick vomiting on Monday night with a high fever. That resolved but he has been teething and VERY fussy all week. Say a few prayers for him, if you think of it.
Otherwise, all is well. Busy as usual. Jon is working a war exercise on the airforce base where he works this weekend. So he will be pulling in some overtime hours, which will help pay some of the bills from Kaden's surgery in February. Definitely a blessing in the timing of the extra cash.
Spring is trying to come to Fairbanks...Temps in the -10s at night and +25s during the day. Lots of melting and freezing, with two fresh inches earlier this week. Daylight from 8am-8pm almost now. Hard to believe!

Hand-me-downs are the best!!
Kaden got his armboards off today! Woo Hoo!! It is like he never had them, he is on the gooooo!!!
He also got some hand-me-down slippers from his cousin, Hailey. She loves Thomas the Train but has been passing along some of her fun Thomas stuff. After his bath tonight, I put the slippers on Kaden for the first time. HE LOVES THEM!!! He walks around all funny, stomping his feet. Too cute!

Cool dude
Today is a milepost! Kaden can eat what he wants again! No more yucky baby food!! :0) Armboards come off on Thursday. Kaden is doing great, adapting well. I worked last night so he is off with Grandma for the day while I get some rest.
In other updates, it is supposed to be over zero today! It has been -10 over the weekend. Although I left work this morning at 830 and it was complete daylight! Amazing how close Spring really is! (I hope!)
