Fun at the ice park
We had a blast at the ice park today with the boys. A friend watched Ellie so she could stay warm & toasty at home. We were a bit chilly but we had a blast! It was -10 by the way & we were just glad that it wasn't colder!!!

Buddies
Kelly (my college roomie & BFF) and her 3 year old, Cohen made it here safe today for a visit. Tonite our friends, Luke & Charity also stopped by. We had literally 5 adults & 7 kids in our house for the evening! The boys all played surprisingly well together. Very fun visit & the boys watched a movie before bed. Thankful for good friends & kiddos who play well together!!
Playing dress up
Some friends from work had a baby shower brunch for me & Ellie today. This was Ellie's first time to dress up. :) I think it suits her!
Snow day!!
12+ inches of fresh snow in the last two days. I'm loving it!!! Jon is enjoying the overtime, doing much plowing at the hospital. He did find time to pose in the Eskimo ice carving :)

Northern nights
The northern lights are super active this of year, or probably just easier to see. This pic (not my own) was taken Feb 18th at Chena Lakes Recreational Area in North Pole. Our first apartment was literally a mile from this spot. We could see the lights very often in North Pole. Living in Fairbanks, the bright city lights obscure most of the time. I saw them a few weeks ago, right outside our door! Amazing!!
The best northern lights that I ever saw has to be a tie between seeing them move & dance many, many nights in Glennallen and seeing them in Salcha in the clearing by Jon's parents old homestead. The northern lights are by far the BEST thing about winter!!
